Our Competency-Based Education (CBE) programs empower you to earn credentials, ranging from Master’s to Educational Specialist to Doctoral degrees and Post-Doctoral Certificates, allowing you to submit coursework anytime, aligned with your lifestyle.
Our CBE programs are administered using a distance learning format, and we’ve designed a faculty model that prioritizes one-on-one faculty-student interactions, fostering substantive engagement and collaboration.
Each course within the CBE structure requires the successful completion of tasks, comprised of specific formative and summative elements per competency. To progress to the next course, students must meet or exceed the Mastery level for each task, allowing them to progress through their learning journey by submitting coursework as they demonstrate mastery, guided by their existing knowledge and competencies gained from prior education or experience. (Please note that Doctoral degree programs require a dissertation or capstone project, and a successful defense, to earn a ‘Pass.’)
