Learn about the exciting world of engineering design and problem-solving in our Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology program. Through class discussions, coursework, and hands-on use of measurement tools and engineering software, you’ll work to build a solid foundation for working with electric circuits, digital techniques, control systems, communications systems, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and more.
Along the way, you’ll also seek to develop the critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills you’ll need for professional success. For your capstone project, you’ll design a solution for an engineering problem under the mentorship of a faculty member or professional engineer. You’ll complete your project under realistic constraints including economic, environmental, sustainability, manufacturability, ethical, health, safety, social, and political factors. By the time you graduate, you’ll have worked to develop skills relating to a variety of technical and management opportunities in electrical engineering for the manufacturing and service industries.
