As part of your MSN FNP concentration, you’ll learn about and gain experience in primary care of infants, children, adolescents, and adults. In your FNP courses, you’ll discuss how to assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses across the lifespan, as well as provide preventive care, with emphasis on strategies for rural and underserved populations. After earning your postgraduate FNP certificate, you can choose to pursue certification in this specialty.
